Hi. I've want to ask if there's any way to "summon" (or set) a determined weather state via the console. Since AA weather system is random, it is a bit hard to experience some weather conditions. Any help is really appreciated.

Well, after messing around with configs, deleting the levels folder and putting every setting to minimum, I am proud to announce that... gameplay beats graphics on this one, hahahaha. I'll stay on static lighting XD Thanks a lot for your help :)

Oh, advanced options "in-game", hehe, yes of course. Grass all the way left, vision distance just 2 notches to the right (almost minimum), object detail at 1/4, texture detail at half, lighting and shadow quality at 1-2 notches to the right... that is, everything to almost minimum ;)

About RE4 and STALKER launch date, yes I know, what I meant is, when RE4 launched it had a "lighting malfunction" or something like that. There were no lights, no shadows and no shading. A bit later (a month or so) a patch was released that fixed that. To get a better idea, just google "RE4 PC 2007" and check the first images that come up. Just for clarification, I just said it felt something like that (comparing static vs dynamic), obviously static in STALKER is miles better than the original state of RE4 :)

Hey thanks! I will do that. If by "advanced options" you mean the shaders config, then yeah, I've already done that. Actually, it was pretty interesting. When I started the game (5th time, 1st with your mod) I actually managed to get pretty playable fps (for a laptop like mine, that is). I disabled everything on the shaders options, except color contrast/saturarion for that grayish tint), and on Cordon I was running on 35-55 fps, 45 on average (depending on the scene of course) and it felt quite fluid. However, once I got to the car scrapyard on the garbage sector, the frames started to jump all over the place and it felt completely jittery/jumpy, it wasn´t playable anymore :/ So I had to go to static.

The gripe I have with static is, it feels flat, things lack some shading and are harder to notice/focus on. To put an example, it feels as the old RE4 for PC on 2007 (before being patched). On exteriors I think it does a pretty good job (particularly the nights, I agree it does look miles better than vanilla at night). However, while underground, everything is really flat. The flashlight is very bright, wide and it reaches very far. It loses a lot of the atmosphere. And since these are my favourite parts of the game... well, it feels a bit "disheartening", hehe.

HOWEVER, that hasn´t stopped me from enjoying your mod (I'm already in lab x16) :) I really like it. The gameplay changes, the ai, the weapons, the ambiences... everything feels almost perfect (and is freaking hard XD!). Anyway, thanks a lot for the advice.

Hi, great mod and already voted for it ;) I'd like to ask something though. Is there any way to disable the graphical enhancements? Unfortunately I play on a laptop (main desktop is a few contries away, hehe) and, obviously, the mod is a bit overkill for my system. I can play with static lighting at constant 60fps no problem and although it looks good, I think it doesn´t compare to even vanilla dynamic lighting. Is there any way to only keep gameplay/sound/ai changes? Anyway, let me congratulate you on the best mod I've tried this year :) And thanks on any help/advice you can give me.
