Both now it seems, I am having to reinstall the base game again. I've checked that the version is up to date and there are no other mods in the folder, but still the same problem? I've also had this problem when trying to work the mod Kaiserreich. However the mod Modern era works? Thanks for the reply.

When I try to start the game and select a country to play, it crashes at adapting history. I've done everything it says on the crash thread, delete map and flag cache, and even the whole ultimate folder, but still the same thing keeps happening, i've even uninstalled the game twice, any help would be great. Thanks!
