Holy **** I finally found what was causing it. So in windows defender < exploit protection settings < program settings I created a profile for EXE and EXE2 Freelancer.exe and overrode system settings disabling all the security features for both exes and it works now.

vanilla yes, and always yes.
When I tick "SP" in launcher options, everything works fine till I launch to space. I re-installed crossfire disabling all high fidelity options and turning on compatibility for older graphics card hoping that something would work. Nothing did. I just don't understand what the problem is. I followed the extended installation guide to a "T". I can play the base game unmodded just fine.

So i'm able to get the intro to load (where the station gets destroyed) but 15 seconds into the intro when the camera gets close to the transport it crashes. When I tick SP in the launcher options, I am able to load manhattan, but when I launch to space it crashes (It doesn't even show space, just the ship flying into the atmosphere then crash). Also I am unable to use any shaders other than "No Selection" or it crashes. Great googly moogly this makes me want to pull my hair out

I had to put the report.html into a zip because it kept failing to upload to google drive otherwise. That report is after two patches with crossfire installed (the launcher update + the 539 file download + the daily patches)

Updated - Was able to get registered, had to use IE. Still trying to troubleshoot the game though, not having much success :/

Thanks, when I submit my registration it still gives me the "Access denied. You’re not authorized to view this page." message.

I've reinstalled several times and every time after patching twice the most files it will have is 17,944. I'm running everything as administrator and am getting no error prompts during installation. Even tried install to a different drive. I honestly don't know what the problem is :/

Hey Swat, i'm having a great bit of difficulty playing the game i'm afraid. When I attempt to start a new campaign with Crossfire, it crashes during the data loading screen. When I load a new save from vanilla and launch to start the first mission with King, after the intro plays about the Rheinland cruiser, the game crashes. All my troubleshooting has led me nowhere, it looks like there are helpful articles on the crossfire forum but you have to be registered to access it. Unfortunately it looks like the registration is broken as the captcha is defunct and submitting the registration just tells me I don't have access to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it looks like a kickass mod!

-Direct play is installed
-Shaders set to vanilla
-Running as admin

Oh lawdy please tell me this is releasing before the new year! I'm getting antsy.
