No, there is not main web site as of now. No real dedicated message board as well, but there is a section dedicated to the mod on The Phrozen Keep that you can check here : D2mods.info

I use it for various things and it's a bit more active than here so it's definitely where you should go to ask questions and/or give feedbacks.

Progress is slow, but there is progress :
- Ritualist is currently in the rework and will be the next playable character
- Some unique items introduced (with unique powers attached to each of thems)
- Started to work on new monsters system (Better AI, new monsters, overall rebalance)
- And many small changes here and there based of feedback from the beta

Still a lot to do before it's done. Maybe there will be a 2nd beta at a later date, I'm not sure yet.

As I told you a bit bellow, no they won't. Nightmare difficulty will be in the next update that will come soon after 6.00.

Only 4 of the 7 characters are in the beta. That is normal :)

Nightmare difficulty won't be in version 6.00. That's planned to be added in the next one.

I have no real idea of when it will be ready. However, I'm trying to make beta characters compatible. You will probably have to reset skills and maybe delete some items, but beside that, thay should hopefully work :)

In the current beta (6.00), yes. In the current released version, all of thems are playable. Of course, once 6.00 is released and not in beta anymore, all of thems will be playable:)

If you'r on version 1.14, then the problem comes from that. Blizzard changed the way the game is coded in 1.14 so D2SE that is used to run the mod is not compatible anymore with this version only. If you can, try to install an older version of the game and it should work.

Sets will all be reworked and hopefully will be better than the ones in game curently :)

For the charm, the problem is they are really unbalanced considering the increased inventory size, so that's why there is no charms in the mod. I do not plan to add charms back as of now.

Version 1.14 is not supported by D2SE, and as such, not by the mod as well. Unfortunately, Blizzard changed the way the game is coded in 1.14 so it's not likely that the compatibility will be possible in the future. The only solution I can see there is to have the game installed twice : one in 1.14 and one in any older version that can then be used with D2SE and pretty much any mod :)

Happens on some computers. You can do a google search for this dll, download it and put it in mod folder, or you can install Microsoft visuall C++. But I think doing a search for it and putting it in mod folder is the best to do in this case.

Yes. But to be honnest I'm not very satisfied with thems, so they may change in final version. Right now they work like Hydras.

The dissabled items are dissabled because I haven't done thems at all. What you can tests is quite a lot : news skills, news maps events, mana system, items generation, general balance to point out a few.

1. Yes, this is a beta, so only 4 classes as of now. Final version will have all 7.

2. I will do my best so it will be compatible with the final version, but I cannot say it will be for sure. On a more general note, starting with this release, I will avoid the users to have to restart with each new version as much as possible.

There is a know bug veth this quest that dosen't start ot, but you can still complete it. Check the book in the 5th town to see what you need to do.

And no, you can play all 5 acts, but most of the changes are in the 1st one.

It work on version 1.10, that is not going to change. But if you use D2SE you can have any version (should include 1.14d) and be able to start any mod, whatever the version they work on.

You can send me a PM. I was looking for some feedbacks after releasing this, and plan to work on it during this summer. Hopefully it will be done in the next few months. But I still need to complete 3 characters, and all of the unique/sets and runewords at a bare minimum to call this version done.

Beta is he most up to date version as of now. So there is no others version with 'active things'.

If you want a full version, you can download version 5.03 instead, wich is the current released complete version, but it is much different from beta 6.00

I will try to make thems compatible, but it is not sure that it will be possible. You will have to use a scroll to unlearn all skills first in all cases. (You won(t loose skillpoints) I will also try to put a formula in so you can update your beta unique / set items if you keept thems.

About progress, there definively is some progress. I know it's slow, but I can't really do faster. There is a lot to do, and still a lot to be done before I can call this completed.

The bad news is the final version 6.00 is not for the near future. The good news, however, is that depending on progress and how things goes, I may release a public beta in a few months :) Before doing so I have to adress some issues because as of now, some mechanics are broken due to majors changes and have to be fixed before I can release anything.

Well modding Diablo 2 is nothing like develloping a real game, so no, that's not my plans ;)

About v6.00, I can't really tell you an ETA. ALl I can tell you is that it progress, slowely, but it doses but there is till a lot to do before I can release it. I know the mod look 'dead' right now, but it's not. What you can expect when it's finally released is a complete balance, rework and features pack for the mod, all in a signe big patch instead of small things in more than 1 patch. Releasing all in one patch allow me to balance everything togeiter more easily :)

Version 5.03 now avaiable !

Mainly a bugfix for windows Xp but also fix some other bugs.

Small announcement :
The bug that prevent you to play if you are under windows XP is fixed on my side (currently in testing phase).
If all go well, I will release an update very soon so players can play under windows XP again !

That's something that may be added one day, but don't count on it soon as this is a lot of work ! (And I have more important things to do before)
