Idk about morphine, but I put a laxative on the refrigerator and it worked perfectly.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Sadly there's no previous save because I've long since deleted it (I only keep enough saves to not create a scrollbar), and it was back from around when I reached Zurich, so too long ago to backtrack.

I'll just roll with the Becket ending and see the other outcome in the future then.

Oh, that sounds good already then. 4/5 may sound high off the bat, but it's completely doable at that part. A focused build would start at 4, and you can raise it to 5 with exp before that. Technically it's more about knowing and planning about it than anything else, I think.

And that explains it. I had a Seduction option with the lady that led her to tell me about it, but I didn't know it was needed to be able to interact with the vent, lol.

I have a few more reports for now:

The train station area at the exit of the hospital has a really poor performance in most parts of it. Nothing enough to CTD, but the game becomes awfully laggy. Not a game breaking issue but something to keep in mind when fine tuning the mod.

The outside area of the Poland mine, however, is extremely CTD prone. Some parts are guaranteed crash, while others are just unstable. Some parts also have graphic issues leading to black flickering on the screen (does not cause CTD, issue is visual only). The inside area is all good and smooth tho.

And bringing the Logia topic back, I'm having an issue that started happening after the quick encounter with Beckett at the gates. Ever since then, whenever I enter the main building, whether through the vent or the front door, I take a Humanity loss right away, as the leader apparently falls dead when I enter the place, since only a dropped Maul can be found on his place. I held this report until I've finished gathering the items, since I wanted to see if the problem would persist until then, but it does indeed. So right now I can't see the Logia version of the quest end, lol.

Which makes me curious: given the nature of what's about to happen, is it the "I have to deal with consequences" or "I have to reload a save" kind of ending? Asking mostly because I want to know if I should wait for a fix before proceeding, or just keep a backup save file to check it out once that happens.

Assuming save files are compatible between updates and patches, of course. If I would need a new game anyway then please keep me in the dark and I'll just pick the Beckett option this time. xD

This is what I can remember for now. As always, many thanks for all the time and patience that goes into replying and checking all this stuff! See ya and take care!

Thanks for taking the time to check it out!

My version is 5.4.01, according to the display on Options>Gameplay, so it should have been installed correctly.

On the Hookers: some areas are better than others. I made that report back when I was in Portsmouth, in which I never found a place good enough. In Paris it was a little better (sometimes even in the middle of the street), while in Zurich only one alley passed the check, and in Berlin I didn't try yet since the Nazis have kept me well fed.

About the thugs: humanity loss isn't out of place indeed, so I think a "diplomatic" solution without the use of disciplines would be a perfect fix. Though I didn't test with the console to see if those options were available at higher skill rates, so maybe they're already there to begin with, lol.

Oh, and I must apologize for lack of clarity: I didn't mean the Japan temple fight was too hard per se, only that it was too hard for my character at the moment, specially with his lack of focus on combat. xD

The Colt Anaconda I got a bit later turned out to be a great equalizer on a 4v1 fight, lol. The shirtless one (the teleporting guy) is indeed as tanky as it can get, and I used more bullets on him than on the other three combined, lmao. But the fight is really fun and completely doable, absolutely no need to tone it down. :p

What high stat do you mean to enter the Logia building? I just used the vent on the side.

And let me know if you would like more reports for now, as I have some other occurrences to share.

By the way: I really loved the train sequence, and I've found it amazingly well done! In fact, I absolutely need to compliment the team on it not having a single bug whatsoever, specially when it feels like it would be the part most prone to be victimized by them so far. Either way, extra kudos to everyone for it! :3

And thanks again for checking on the reports and giving a detailed reply on them!

A little bit of advice for anyone who haven't done this yet: disable auto saving.

It can cause bugs and other issues (including performance).

Yesterday I was having issues with Giordano fight. Now, the first fight went seemingly well and I got cursed with a permanent slow effect from the summoned spirits instead.

However, any further attempts made starting as far as the beginning of Venice were met with a different issue: Giordano behavior got broken. He would stay fixed in place, only casting his paralyzing thing and around half HP he would teleport to the top of the stairs after summoning the spirits, remaining stuck in place and casting the debuff. And then the real issue: he would become immortal, not dying even after depleting his HP bar.

After literally around a dozen fights starting from various save points, I thought maybe the auto save right before the fight could be the issue, and disabling it indeed worked right away.

For anyone who doesn't know how to do that:

Go to the War Games folder> cfg > open "autoexec" with notepad or similar > add the following line, exactly as typed (quotes and all):

autosave_on "0"

Then save and close. Besides preventing this and other similar issues, it should also help with game performance, specially loading screens.

You do indeed. Though you're still left at -2 from fighting the thugs, lol.

Also had a similar case with the monks in the the japanese temple, and the only other way around (that I've found) was by either improvising stairs with the paper screens to climb at the balcony and then dash for the next area or by trying to lock their passage by carrying around one of the paper screens from the entrance. :p

The monks can barely catch you under their nose, but just approaching the stairs leading to the boss area makes them detect you automatically, it seems. I tested it with Obfuscation 4 and Stealth 10 through the console, and while the first works as intended, even a maxed stealth with a green 0 at the detection range will still have the monks on you if you get close to the area of the stairs leading up.

The saddest part was that after all the fun I've had trying to ninja my way past those two (seriously, I couldn't stop laughing at the shenanigans I was trying to pull), I still had to go away and leave the quest for later (when I'm stronger) because of how overwhelming the trio fight was to my barely mid combat stats. xD

Either way, thanks for taking your time to answer and for checking out on those reports!

Btw, one more doubt:

Is it intended that some self defense actions can still incur into criminal violations or Humanity loss?

For example, in the quest to help the mechanic guy with the thugs that keep stealing his money (in Murphy's Law), aside from Dominating them into leaving him in peace, one can also stand up to them or let it be after delivering the message to not bother him any longer.

I haven't tried this last one, but standing up to them leads to one being aggressive towards you, which leads to the other two also being aggressive after you punch him back, and defeating them eventually leads to a felony and multiple loss of humanity, even if you wait for them to attack first before doing anything.

Is that a bug or intended (I mean, technically you're still punching people to death :p )?

Glad to help! Thank you too for the fast reply!

And I see, that makes me more at ease then, since I won't have to uninstall or downgrade anything for now.

Will be looking forward to the next update then. ^_^

Hello! Started playing it today and been really enjoying it so far!

I've met a couple of issues I would like to report, tho:

In the medical tent, the nurse says she's gonna give you a key but none is added to the inventory. You can still pick the lock of the storage so it does work out in the end.

The second issue, however, is that after coming back from Worker hideout, the dialog with the gas station worker won't finalize the quest, whether you complete it peacefully or violently. The peaceful outcome has "no valid reply" as the only option and the violent one a "Can't help you there". Both ends the conversation, and you can talk with him again for the same dialog loop over and over again (no rewards are given as well).

Another issue I've come across is that no place seems hidden enough for the hookers, no matter how out of sight or remote, so I wasn't able to feed on them at all.

Mod, update and UP installed in that order, just like Avadonica's instructions. I'm using UP 11.5 with the Plus content installed as well (maybe that is the problem?)

Either way thanks for the awesome work put on this mod! I've barely started it and already feel very hyped!

Hey LordUra!

I'm curious: would your addon be compatible with the War Games mod?

For some reason I can't take it off my mind to play a True Brujah there. I think it's the Tal'mahe'Ra ops vibe, haha.
