FLMM is used to activate the mod. We've long since moved away from the custom installer, so its the same as any other mod :)

The server is indeed alive! The problem lies with the global server browser which is very very finicky. To keep connections up many servers have switch over to directIP.

Setting up directIP is simple:

First, right click the Freelancer icon and go to "properties".

Then in the "Target" section copy and paste this -sserver.freelancer-swwt.com:2302 to the end of the call line. It should look something like this when you're done

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -sserver.freelancer-swwt.com:2302

Click ok and then you'll be able to see the server when you start up! Hope that helps. If you have more questions feel free to hop on the forums and head over to the questions section.
