Is the weapon sway going to be for all weapons? Inconsistency looks sloppy...and the weapon needs a faster reload.

If there are going to 4 weapons for each class (2 for US and 2 for MEC);

Really good, I would really dig an urban environment where you weave in and out of buildings.

Btw, if you want to replicate New York City, I would like to suggest alot more buildings and little to no grass textures. (I'm Aussie btw, but I've been there ;)). If you're doing state, more roads along each buildings!

Yeah mate, you can do it with any mod.

Go to "C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2/mods/alpha_project/AI"

There should be file called "AIDefault". Go into it and edit these following lines to your liking:

aiSettings.overrideMenuSettings 1 (make sure this is set to 1)
aiSettings.setMaxNBots "no of bots"
aiSettings.maxBotsIncludeHumans 0
aiSettings.setBotSkill "skill level (decimal from 0-1)"

Note, don't edit the lines that precede what I just posted. They look exactly like them, except they have "rem" in front of each line, meaning there are omitted from the script.

Oh, I thought that everything on JONES's xFire wasn't official until confirmed here. Thank you for correcting me (no sarcasm intended).

Look, I'm not meaning to offend anybody. The AP team are doing a good job as it is. Real world convictions prevent them from progressing like they/we want (them) to. Atm, I just think they should focused on one thing before being sidetracked and focusing on another.

Just play the Alpha Project Gulf of Oman as the US with 63 bots. Or Frostbite. Or Divided City. You have these roads surrounding the city, and yet, the bots all walk in a straight line directly towards the closest flag, only to be shot up with by a MEC tank. It's not fun to watch, you know?

The only ones that I know of are the M16, the M4 and the M9 pistol (which hasn't confirmed I think). There are ones on JONES' xFire but they aren't official. Link if I'm wrong. :) I may be incorrect.

I love the integration of parachuting in on Frostbite, but it's not fun with 32 bots a side and you end up losing half your team due to collisions with parachutes and what not.

So JONES, is there going to be a "cleanup" update? I mean, the map packs were great and everything but I find that the MEC don't have as much new content as the US; no heavy sniper, no Gatling gun on transport, etc.

Also, I found that several of the weapons had "dynamic" animations whereas others were quite vanilla. For example, the Bizon has a great deploy animation and some others (I forgot which ones) had weapon sway while walking/running whereas most of the other weapons were quite boring. Shouldn't the other weapons get a facelift then, for the sake of consistency?

Also, as this is primarily a SP mod, the maps require more AI mapping. I find that maps like Divided City aren't brought to justice; the soldiers don't take advantage of detours around and throughout the city. Gulf of Oman and Frostbite are also in need for at least 2 spawn points on the beach and ground respectively for US. I understand that these maps were released separately but you could update with the new update.

I understand this mod has been sidetracked by new discoveries such as customisation and shaders from it's primary objective of restoring things seen in Alpha BF2. However, tidying up, it makes the mod alot more enjoyable for those playing SP. You can either disregard my opinion (which is fine, I had no influence in your affairs in the first place) or you can take in account at least some of them. Thank you.

Following. Keep developing and releasing until 2015 and ask DICE if you could release the final as the 10th Anniversary Edition. ;)

Btw, if (hypothetically, you managed (or already have ;)) to create a customisation menu for weapons, will they be attachments set to certain coordinates of the weapon model (like CoD, don't flame me please) or preset gun attachment layouts (complete weapon models)? :D
