How exactly did you go about your installation? The mod should be launched from a .bat file in the mod folder.

Not sure if it's reversible, but it shouldn't hurt your ability to play with your father. Also, on steam, you should put it onto your medieval2.exe file, as there is no kingdoms.exe in the steam version. They are combined.

Did you drop all the loose files and stuff into the main Amnesia folder? They need to have their own folder in the game's folder.
