Ehhh let em be, a lot of modders (from a TON of other games, not just doom) start off like this, even if they don't become larger then life expert modders or whatever, they'll get bored and dive out of the modding scene

More bugs l have noticed in the game:

1-sounds for the CSS and HL source weapons are completely missing except the crowbar
2-game crashes when hitting an explosive barrel with the crowbar
3-game crashes at the chapter "Red Letter Day" after acquiring the HEV Mark 5, barney tells you to get it juiced up, l approach the charger, buy menu turns up instead and the game crashes.

OR, if that fails, create a shortcut of your hl2.exe file on the desktop, right click it, go to properties, and put in this little text at the very last section of the target

More bugs l found:
in the chapter Highway 17, in the combine outpost near the chapter exit where you evade the razor train, on the first door you go to to proceed under the railtracks (with the poison zombie near it), when l pass the loading screen, l inexplicably die, there's no way to avoid it, not even with god mode, l had to noclip

in the chapter Sandtraps, the vortigaunt who is supposed to give you the bugbait simply stands there, and doesn't do his scripted sequence.

List of bugs l found so far:

Enemies bleed purple "missing texture" blood for some reason, they also bleed a lot, possibly due to using SMOD as a base?

Sometimes crashes during level transitions and during battles, haven't found a reason so far

This is more of a personal issue rather then a bug but the inaccuracy debuffs carried from the CSS weapons really make the original aggressive and fast HL2 playstyle really not viable, also the weapon capacity is really bad, could you increase it?

also the game crashes at the rebel outpost where you first encounter the manhacks, on the level transition.

since all the idiotic trolling spammers are gone, l want to recommend Samsara Remix/Reincarnation, incredibly replayable mod and if you use Slayer's Lexicon/Compendium with Map order shuffle and a few other mods (Indestructable, Corruption Cards, Gun Bonsai, and a few others) you can get an incredibly replayable combination.
