Looks awesome, i'm gonna check it out :)
I like infiltration missions allot so that's a pro to me :)
I totally get your problem. My suggestion is that you should learn some basic GEM editor and such.
I always made a scenario where you would either infiltrate german bases while wearing german uniforms. But dont come to close to guards, else they will uncover your cover etc.
I never made dialogs ingame, I always did them in my head. So much fun the gem editor can bring :)
And btw, theres nothing wrong with your english, atleast not for me (im dutch). If people think you're bad at english, they are just grammer nazi's and never actually seen an other language before!
Anyways, kinda got off there:
As far as I know, there is no easy way to turn on/off friendly fire :/
Thats right, due to some bugs in Men of War, I decided to let the tanks not have men inside.
However I found a fix for this already, and I will be updating the cheatsmod for Condemed Heroes very soon!
You need to set the "side" too.
That will tell what kind of compaign is loaded.
An example of a side.mi can be found in the original missions (from cheatsmod)
Well its very hard to explain over message boards.
I do give people some explanation over skype chats etc.
Hit me a PM with skype details if you want to know more.
Yes that was indeed the problem. This will be fixed in a newer version :P
Did you load that mission? if so, restart the mission.
If you are using this on custom missions (from other mods) then it will NOT work
For Vietnam, the button does nothing, I think I forgot to delete it :P
In vietnam, you're able to spawn from both sides instantly (as both countries offer a little army of units)
No. I can't
Well the easiest way to do so, is to open the mission with cheatsmod enabled. But then again, there is no easy task to do this :/
It still requires you to go scripting and such, and if you're fine with that, then good luck :)
It requires me allot of work to do ALL multiplayer units.
It will also be allot of work to include sir hinkel missions.
Every time sirhinkel releases a new update, requires me to download the mod, edit his mod, and put it online while in the mean time when my mod gets approved, sirhinkel might already have a newer version. (as approval takes time on moddb)
You just tell your squad to open fire and free move.
It can all be done within men of war itself, no modding required!
About those other options, I will see what I can do
Impossible, Faces of War doesn't have a sidebar (which cheatsmod makes use off.)
In your game dir. You create a folder "mods" without quotes.
Then you place the CheatsMod folder into mods folder.
Activate it ingame by goin to options -> mods
Yes, but you have to do your own edits/tweaks here and there
Not sure why. I am not gonna look for that fix as new 4.2 will fix it, which I will upload soon!
GSM might have it in "missions.pak" or something similar
In the past there were missions that were impossible to pass. This had to due to game triggers expecting ALL player 1 units (including invisible ones) to go to a certain place.
However, this has been fixed since 4.x.x
Anyways, I am goin to look at some missions. But can you tell me what missions don't let you pass?
Yes I've noticed that. Update soon!
The mod shouldn't crash with other mods enabled.
Can you tell me what mods do this happen ?
Now working on condemned heroes version (red tide is almost done, just need to port it from red tide to condemned heroes!)
You have to make a folder "mods" in the root directory.
Then copy CheatsMod folder into mods (not the contents. Just the whole folder)
/CheatsMod/resource/map/cheats/how to use.txt
But this only covers "enable on other missions"
In the future I will include another how to for editing the map itself
The main reason there is no guide, is that it's to hard for most people. For me its like basic stuff. If I want to write a solid guide, I'll have to detail everything.
Most of the newbies are scared by how much stuff they need to do :P
I have fixed it.
Go download the new version!
I'll look into that tomorrow.
No problem man. I still have those (stories/fantasies) when playing some games! Keep on story telling :)
This has probably to do with Difficulty settings.
On easy, missions give your units like 300health while on heroic, you get like 100health.
Standard health on infantry = 100
I have never actually modded it to 300 or whatever.
Maybe I will put this in future updates!
Thanks for the compliment ;)
I didn't really had any plans for AT rifles (I suppose you mean them?).
For the flamethrowers part is that I don't want the game to be edited, as it can **** up things with other mods.
In the past, they did have more fuel tanks in their inventory
I might just do that again.
At the moment I am not working on the mod
