Yeah, if you played Warcraft III you'll know quite a lot of things weren't proportional, it definitely carries that 'exaggerated/cartoon-esque' feel and were trying to replicate that!

Yup, a few people have already pointed that out, therefore the working title is actually; wclotd (Warcraft: Legacy of the damned) but we still often refer to it as wc4sc2, as that... is basically 'what it is (a sequel to War3 in the sc2 engine)'.
The moddb address won't be changed as it would break several link backs - which we could do without having to replace!

Infact, Polies have little to do with game preformance! Its generaly a combination of bones and animations combined with a large number of polies. Polies will increase filesize, which may increase loading time however, but will have little impact on gameplay, Especially sc2's gameplay.

Mods, though I actually left the team earlier today.
If you don't play sc2, they're basically resource/script storage files that you upload alongside maps, you can link your maps to an unlimited amount of mods to "grab resources" from. :)

@King - I was just curious, I know your using A LOT of imports for this, not to mention "upgrading" the visual graphics. Of course for campaigns this will mean nothing, but in multiplayer are the maps going to be 5-8mb or have you managed to put the resources into client accessed MPQ's? :p

As for the orc, yes it is low poly, this is merely the base for many models to follow - our modeller has left a good chunk of poly allowance for armour/weapons and detail on further versions of the model.

Also remember that this is an RTS, not an FPS, the model poly counts are considerably lower, neither is the Orc properly textured yet.
