Looks like the files need to be in the root TOEE folder, not within the portraits folder that extracting this (as per the misleading instructions) creates. IDFK why they didn't specify this.

Weapons and character models are all matte-black for me. Anyone else having this issue? Did I mess up the installation process somehow?

Wrong. There's at least 5 servers up right now.

DoomFanLIkesMods's post above solved the issue for me. Gotta edit the ReplacerActors.txt stored within the pk3

Not working for me. I'm getting "Script error, "40k-Lasgun - arcadereload.pk3:lasgun.txt" line 13:
'@property@weapon.ammouse1' is an unknown actor property" on launch.

For any future confused people you gotta add the relevant keybind lines from the extra_buttons.cfg config file to your player folder config.cfg file.
