Having some issues with the USP Tac. After upgrading the gun to reduce recoil, the upgrade only seems to apply sometimes. If I remove the red-dot sight and re-attach it, the reduced recoil will change between applying to hip fire, aim down sights, both, or not at all. Sleeping, changing ammo types, or realoading a save also seems to change this. I'm not using any other mods, and have tried reinstalling BaS, same issue. Other upgrades, such as full auto fire, seem to be applied consistently.

Just thought I would report the issue. Once again, thank you for all of your hard work!

Anyone else notice that NPC stalkers seem much more tanky against mutants when this addon is active? I saw an ecologist tank 4-5 snorks in Yantar today, it took him a while but he eventually killed them all after taking 20 or so hits. Looked like he was in an exo, but still seemed kind of odd considering the sheer volume of hits he took. I was wondering how NPC damage calculations are done when the damage source is a mutant?

Also, great work Grok. Really enjoying the addon so far. I've always felt that loadouts weren't differentiated enough, this really makes you consider what tool you need for the job. Really excellent!

Thanks for the speedy reply. I copied and pasted wpn_sil_osp9 = 1, 1 onto line 474 of trade_mercenary_meeker.ltx using Notepad++ and it seems to be working now.

Hey there,

Just curious about Meeker's inventory. I was looking for the Osprey 9mm silencer as indicated in the Trade Helper file, but it didn't show up in his inventory. I poked around in the configuration file, and it seems like he is only set to buy the Osprey 9mm silencer, not sell it.

I also had a question about Meeker's inventory trigger to sell an expanded range of supplies.

buy_supplies = {+task_find_inf_inx_8_mlr_2} supplies_2, supplies_1

Is there a "task" that triggers him to sell an expanded inventory?

Also, thank you so much for your work on this mod! I am having a blast with the new weapons.

I am not entirely sure how Armor works. I have done a little research into the topic but not enough to give you a straight answer.

The only values that change with this mod are Damage and Bleeding. Well, also on master mode enemy bullets not longer have to roll to hit you.

WinMerge should work, Warfighter doesn't change many lines and I doubt Smurth's changes the same ones.

The glitch you speak of is a known glitch. Enemies are not allowed to bleed out because bleeding stops when they fall down.

I might try and fix this in a future update. Make sure to double tap on fallen enemies for now.

I haven't seen the superhuman bandits, however. Has anyone else noticed super-powerful bandits?

I a way it does. "Lightly Armored" enemies take incredible damage from headshots, but to be fair without armor so do you.

The playing field is level in this addon.

Mutants are NOT affected by this mod, and this mod works by making you and other human combatants significantly more fragile.

This modifies a couple of core files to manage the damage. Make sure you intsall it last and you shouldn't have any conflicts. Let me know if things get weird.

I am going to begin work on tweaking other aspects of the game. Weapons and armor are a big part of that and I'll put the same amount of research into getting those right as I did with body part specific wounding.

This mod deals with bleeding wounds, and even if you chopped off all of my fingers at the same time I would likely live because the vessels are small and not very vascular.

It is incompatable with some mods that replace actor.ltx and damages.ltx, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Most enemies will die from a single headshot. Some weak pistol rounds will not do this consistently and will require two (I'm looking at you 9mil)

Hit scale, which controls the amount of force or raw damage received, cannot be edited down to the body part. I have modified wound scaling, which means that bullets cause more bleeding based on the part of the body hit.

It is wound scaling. You should notice that more enemies fall over and succumb to their wound while you are fighting because they are losing blood.

WARFIGHTER is compatible with most other addons because it modifies some vanilla values to get results. It may not work with other addons that modify how damage works. Make sure you install it last.

So, I've gotten into a little bit of modding myself. I was a combat medic in the Army and I've decided that I want to make a realism mod that is well researched and balanced to reflect my experience.

I have made quite a bit of progress using the actor.ltx, damages.ltx, items.ltx and other config files. I am planning to use eat_max_power =-0.x to decrease max stamina for healing item use to provide a reason not to spam them. However, under actor.ltx I have tried to make max_power_leak_speed_sleep =-0.x to recover maximum stamina and it does not seem to work. I also thought it is curious that there is no setting like
sleepiness_v_sleep in this section.

Are these values controlled elsewhere?
Also, are there any other places where it might be better to ask these kinds of questions? Most of the forums I have found for STALKER modding are dead and don't seem to have much activity.

I asked this question on the EpicStalker forums, figured I would get a quicker answer here. Also, congratulations on mod of the year. That is a huge accomplishment!
