because its not, you have to perform certain tasks as Eriador in order to resurrect the kingdom of arnor

ugh......scratch that being isolated to Orcs of Gundabad. Entered battle with some bandits and it happened again.

the only problem I seem to be experiencing right now is this: I'm currently playing as Eriador. Whenever I enter battle with The Orcs of Gundabad and click the button to start battle formations an error message pops up saying MTW2 has experienced an unspecified error and then the game exits to desktop. This seems to be isolated to battles with the Orcs of Gundabad since I have been in battle with various bandits and played a custom battle using Mordor and Gondor just to test it out. Possibly there's a bug involving the Orcs of Gundabad faction?
