I haven't found any spot where I could build it and haven't seen any tech from that branch to buy from AI.
Started campaign as Sweden and have two issues:
1) I'm unable to declare war on Denmark or Russia - after clicking on confirmation to declare war, the diplomacy screen just stays open and war is not declared
2) I can't find how to build a "guild" building and because of that my industrial research is locked
Edit: Was able to declare war against Poland and I guess "guild" is locked as this is a part of locked research tree that is too early for 17th century.
Hard crash on turn 27 with corruption of save. Played as England without enforced alliances.
Btw, english troops without general on strategic map, use Spanish voiceovers.
Weird to see a "Pike and Shot" mod with vanilla broken pikes - pikeman switch to swords in melee.
The muskateers have some weird spread-out formation as it looks like a super tight formation, its actually more dense than size of the soldiers allows.
Ok, to be fair, it only starts with Pike and Shot, but still. Just removed secondary weapon from all pikeman and it works fine. But not sure what is the issue with muskateer formations.
Why there is no review section for this game?...
According to dicussion on forums it's a "feature"... you should have wrote about it in big letters in a game description and in demo... really cheap trick to "raise" replayability.
From this perspective, I don't see a much of difference between full and demo versions.
Are you really suppose to just die in a seven month?... It's like 10 jumps or maybe a bit more, really strange.
Installed XNA 3.1 from microsoft's website, got back to where I've start - bla bla doesn't support textures size not pow of 2...
.... Maybe it happens because of the weird XNA installation, which is kind of never ends installing, just stays there at:

Thanks for the hint! I had MaxiVista installed and there was two additional virtual videocards because of that.
Unfortunately I still can't run it. Now it just "application stopped working..." on a start before any window appears.
Error on application launch:
"Device does not support multi-level texture width and height values that are not powers of too".
This is on Ati Mobility Radeon x2300, which is not that old to not have such a feature.
