You might look at the rating 10 and think, "Yeah right .. nothing really a 10". Honestly, this is the best mod I have ever played in my life, and I've tried a couple. The only reason I have made registered at Moddb, is simply to write this review, and if you are looking N.Aaroe, I salute you!
Apparently some people have problems with the mod, and experience a lot of bugs, but except of one little glitch where Beard was dancing around like an idiot, I haven't found a single thing to complain about. Guess I'm lucky maybe.
This mod gives the true, the real stalker feeling. As some other reviews mentions, I also hides, and try to avoid mutants because of the hugely increased danger of dying. Ammo is expensive, and to survive, you must spare every single bullet you can.
People complain about the stamina, prices and medkits being useless .. I must disagree. Surely it's annoying with the stamina, when you can't sprint very long with 35 kg's of loot on your back, but it gives me a realistic feeling. If you can't run, you must be more aware of mutants coming on to you.
I sit on the edge of my chair from I start the game, till I close it again .. and though I loved N.Aaroe's "I Work Alone" mod, this mod, kicks it's *** by thousands.

Dark, evil and twisted .. that is the real Zone, and this mods delivers it.
