err... did you read the comments that you necrod?
Theres no steam phobia here, its people with ****** internet or who dont feel the need to change over to steam and be FORCED to download again what they already have on disc.
I have the retail editions and steam only because i got the steam ones free with COH2 preorder. If i didnt, i would never in a million years waste my time rebuying or converting the game.

Seems like people need to grow out of not being able to read

P.s. Alot of COH players still dont use the steam version because it lacks a LAN function and forces servers to be listed online publicly so any random can join. Thats no good for a AI skirmish or just playing with mates.

So i get the game to run ok now, its a bit of a pain to join a match, especially when the login thing creates an account then tells me it cant find it.
But i get one game in, then if i go back to the menu and go to load another i will crash just before the level loads...
And i have to uninstall the mod, verify the game cache in steam, then reinstall the mod + patches, just so i can play one more round and repeat it all again.

I really like what im able to play, but the whole thing is very convoluted and confusing to understand without proper notation let alone even install.

Also just a side note.
Please properly detail the actual features instead of that video... it didnt make much sense and was also waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long for what it was, just a text document would have worked.
I.e. How does the rank system work etc

Hey i know its been a long long time since an update.
But can you please update your installation instructions, they are by no stretch of the imagination clear in any way.
From what ive managed to piece together from the contradictory installer instructions and the ones posted here, we need
A Fully updated JKIII AND a Fully Updated JKII(in order to take package files from it) And then we just use the installer and select our jediacademy directory(NOT GAMEDATA as is specified in all the instructions)
Am i missing something here? Because ive spent 6 hours trying to get either version, pro or normal to work. And they only really change the menu, and do nothing else, Hell the pro one actually broke my MP completely.

yep mine is exactly the same. No idea why. Did exaclty as specified in instructions. I have it on steam btw.

How do i remove the annoying overlay in the top left corner on the NV version.
The first loading screen from fallout 3 just stays there forever and blocks a decent chunk of my screen.

Yes, its better to keep your illegitimate and legitimate games seperrated. That way should any of your legal games contain spyware you wont get caught out
And also if your illegal games were to get caught out then you wouldnt lose any of your legit games as a consequence, as some companys may bar you from accessing their servers or game clients if you are found to own illegal copies.

Origin contains DRM style spyware that by installing the client you have given permission to EA to use information from your pc and essentially stop pirating.
So if your running pirated games
DO NOT INSTALL ORIGIN
Which Btw is stupid because if you dont want to agree to the terms its already too late once youve purchased the game as many stores wont allow pc game returns due to the one use nature of cd keys.

This was done withought the knowledge of players until the game began shipping in Australia with a notification slip stating that by opening the box and installing the game you agree to have EA install spyware on your computer (Not stated the same way but you get the point)
