Huge fan of STA3 from the start. I'm sure you guys have lots of pretty new models for crusiers but why not put the Excelsior class as a heavy cruiser in addition to having it as a capital ship? Just make the capital ship version a stronger variation and give it some cool abilities. When I think of this era of star trek I think of Picard on the Stargazer and the rest of Starfleet flying around in Excelsiors and Mirandas. I loved the Melbourne ships from one of the STA3 versions that you could warp in. Anyways just a thought. Keep up the good work.

Dominion can pummel you quickly but they dont last in a prolonged fight. Cardies have staying power but lack somewhat in firepower and are slooooooooooow. The Kessok hybrids for the Cardassians sre no joke.

I'd wager a guess of a release late Nov or early Dec. But looking forward to any updates regardless of a time line.

Did you go pure Cardassian or did you research Dominion alliance? I was never able to get them unless I went full Cardy.

I don't see the allure of playing as Terran Empire but i see tons of request for it. It might be a load of work or a simple upload but maybe adding a Terran Empire icon that people can select when setting up their game. Just use all the same models and such but just seeing that icon above ships should help fill that void in certain trekkers hearts? In any event i know you guys have poured your time and energy into this mod and any sane person would have quit long ago.

Random events are easy to defeat. Just throw up a starbase or two and they are stopped. The only thing i dont like about them is they dont attack each other.

But i like Star Trek for all the shiney pretty things. More boom zip pop wow zamm zing please. Oooh plastic bag...

Like what i see with the RX480 but seems no one has them in stock. Might just go with the GTX 1060. RAM ordered. Going to up my power supply from 325 watts to 500 or more. Thanks again everyone for the input.

Have we though about having every home world start off with a fully upgraded star base? Would help the AI from getting whale probed and it makes sense to have ones homeworld fortified. Or maybe give the HQ the population ability to prevent loss of planet from bombardment.

Ive noticed that for every match as well. Last one had a borg cube, 13 damaged bioships and a couple of mondune ships all going in circles. Only the those whale probing alien ships made it out to the rest of the system. They must really want those whales.

Anyone ever have an issue with AI becoming inactive mid game? Usually happens after a few save/loads. Seems it happens on various maps, difficulty levels and factions. Ive even reloaded the game and cranked the AI difficulty to max with no changes. They still spawn heroes but never build new ships.

Will this update include the new Enhanced Romulan Ale? I wanna see a scout ship beam over some tainted ale to start making a bunch of tipsy fed ensigns crash ships into each other.

I remember talking about DS9 thinking how terrible it would be but it ended up being my favorite flavor. Let's not be quick to judge. That said i wouldn't mind if a Gorn ate JJ Abraham and all of his terrible ideas.

The MOD is great but I think it needs more cowbell. DEVs can we add more cowbell?

Throw up a starbase with a population upgrade. Keeps you from losing the planet and whales just hangout and sing until you eliminate them.

Is Sisko supposed to have cloak ability? I must be missing something But couldn't find anything in the forum.
