So i would like to take my time and start a series of "reviews" more or less let me know if you enjoy them.^^ so first things first.
Cry of Fear is a (Survival) Horror game , it has Singleplayer ,custom stories and a Coop multiplayer for up to 4 players.This Game is based on the gold source engine and despite the fact it runs on a ~ 15 year old engine the developers (Team Psykskallar) squeezed the last thing out of it to make it still look pretty. This game is on steam btw for around 4 or 5 gigs Let's get started with the actual rating now.
- Story 3/5: I enjoyed the Story pretty much the Dev's tried their best at sucking you up into this depressive life of our Protagonist with the name Simon and oh boy i felt really bad for him sometimes the atmosphere is really good in this game. Sadly the plot holes ruined it for me there were still some things unclear in the end and it was very confusing sometimes.
-Gameplay 5/5: Really theres no Survival horror game out there thats more fun and easy to play as this one the Controls are flaweless and very smooth. The gun mechanics are just awesome same for the inventory system Team Psykskallar did the balance just right between realism and fun.
-Graphics 4/5: Yeah while it's true it hasn't graphics like ArmA 3 or any EA title , you need to keep in mind this game is based on a ~ 15 Year old engine! If you ask me they did a damn good job with the tuning of the visuals. Thats why they get 4/5 from me. Respect for that.
-Music 4/5: Oh man... where should i start.. let's begin with the creepy wind you get after you awake in that town ( its by the way a reference to stockholm , a city in Sweden so its based on a real town ) The developers did a good job putting the right music to the right scene and moment. the calm music you get after you end chapter 2... the Crazy Nervous making noises and music you get in the apartments... everything just fits and add their part to making the atmosphere even more dense.
Actually run out of space haha well heres the conclusion: Get it! its free afterall the 5 gb won't hurt you and the coop is also alot of fun with your friends.

You should post an actual review of the game...
like with gameplay and voice? meh.. altho i have some youtube videos up im not into commentary's... It was more of a experiment i dont know if i should continue this.
