In Chapter 6, the mission Reacquaintance in Realms of War instantly fails as soon as it's started, no matter how many times I start it or with different mercs/no mercs/points/retinue. Any idea what's up? It's been smooth sailing for all the rest.

Which is the correct name for the original WB3 campaign, and what's the other one? Both Hero of Etheria and The Fifth Horseman are options.

Enjoying the hell out of this. This is not a "mod," this is a game. Will write a big review once I've tapped a couple of the campaigns.

And on that note, which is the correct campaign name for the WB3 campaign? I believe it was originally called Hero of Etheria and later retitled to The Fifth Horseman. But BOTH are options in the custom campaign list lol.

Welp, I'm an idiot. No wonder its difficulty was absolute insanity. I just assumed it was the hardcoreness of the mod, lol.

Thanks for doing what you do.

I'm still sad Rankin & Bass never made the Fellowship or a Two Towers :-/.

Thank you so much! I played through the Prologue in in 0.8.9, then upgraded to the latest patch for the rest.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm in Chapter 1 (undead chapter) where I'm supposed to colonize an area, and the conditions include me needing to build five Level 5 Deathkeeps. But so far, every single mission has locked the Deathkeep at level 1. Did I just miss something, or is this a gamestopper?

This 'mod' (seems a bit inappropriate to title this towering masterpiece of a game a "mod") is a true achievement. Thank you so much for this.

However, I have a strange issue; whenever I start the main Prologue chapter and go to the first area after the map, the loading bar gets stuck at 81 and I get the vector subscript error CTD siggi_smalls wrote about a few days ago. I only am using the VCredists/DX9 drivers included in the original file (even removed the 2017 C++, probably will want to reinstall that later lol) so I don't think it's that, especially because...

It works just fine on v0.8.9 FULL, but BOTH patch v0.8.9a and v0.8.9b cause this error. Should I just play the prologue with v0.8.9 and then do the patches for the rest of the content?

Thanks so much again for this.

Cool thanks, I'll look into it. In the meantime, what's the best way to let the uploader of this mod know that the human faces in the BFG version look far better than whatever mod or mods they're overwritten with. The "fix" isn't complicated (just delete all references to character models in the game), but it would be nice if it was implemented to begin with.

I wonder what other things look better in the BFG version but are written over by Doom 3 mods...

Thanks for the quick, friendly response. PBR and tessellation in Doom 3 would be a wonder; where's the best place to find updates to RBDoom3?

ALSO, has anyone figured out how to enable Parallax Occlusion Mapping (POM) or any other type of texturing that surpasses the normal maps? I've tried everything I can think of, but it still looks flat as a tire. :-/

Well, it looks like simply deleting the "character" folders in both generated and models folder restored the original.

I wonder how many other textures look better in the BFG edition than any of the mods. Anyone have any idea?

Actually, you can just delete "collision" and "models" in the Generated folder, and then it will be fine. In fact, if you like, once you finish Alpha Labs 1 and get to Alpha Labs 2, you can put back those same folders where they were to begin with. Obviously you'll need to take them out again if you want to go back to Alpha Labs 1.

Really stellar work, y2keeth. Thanks for all of your hard work putting this together! My only question is that I noticed some of the enhancements from the BFG edition have actually been replaced with lower-quality versions; this is most noticeable in many of the faces during the cutscenes at the beginning of the game.

Might you know any way to keep the BFG facial models while still keeping the advanced texture work from the mods?

Regardless, thanks much for this. You did a great job and I look forward to future updates!

This is marvelous! Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much, lawjason!

One question though: with the L'hiver + Vurt textures, which normal mapping pack should I use for DX11? Or should I combine the normal maps? Which files should overwrite which?

Thanks again!
