Good mod. Although I don't need this since I fixed mine myself, I just wanted to say I always found it perplexing, why someone had consciously moved the fire point on the flashlight 0.25 on the Z axis. Like, if it's left at 0 it's good. why would they do that lol

I didn't know I would like this so much but now, the type 56 became my fav gun, just did a couple of adjustments- disabling forced 0.78 fov and using this position, I recommend you try it too!
Makes the gun take up a little less space on screen, but does justice the model quality which is on par with rising storm 2

Hi I may have a bit of information that will help:
The issue happens with Groks ballistic overhaul.
Without it everything works fine.
With it, the hits are not registering- GBO shows dmg calculations in the console- in this case those do not show up. Melee hits do register, and calculations show up in the console.

Love it! It was a shame that I couldn't use voiced actor with the female sounds mod cause my girl would yell like a 50 year old Russian during a firefight. This is very quality- dependence on squad is a great immersion enhancer, as are muffled sounds.

Not really- I know where to put a mod and what can and what cannot override something as not to cause crashing. I've done a fair share of modding.
I've put this mod on top, as well as in a tab dedicated to model replacers, together with mods like the new galil etc.
A simple replacer like this should not crash the game.
There are many many mods that touch the same files as this, yet do not crash the game. If I put the uni_anim_core file from another replacer (which has correctly implemented compatibility) over yours, then the game doesn't crash.
DLXTfy the mod, this will get rid of compatibility issues.
And fyi dismissing feedback like this will get you nowhere. I reported the problem to you, gave the solution but it is yours to implement. But if you uploaded someone elses work then you probably do not know how to implement such a change. This is why you should upload only something that you made and therefore understand how it works.

Pretty meh in terms of compatibility at least, uni_anim_core crashes the game. Also somehow messed with sound cause I didn't have any sound when shooting. Removing the mod fixed it so I guess it is to blame.

Great mod mate, is it possible to create a list of exceptions from this rule? For example define weapons that will play the regular sprint animation? Because some guns have very nice and low key, sprinting anims- blindside ones for example, or the ones from gunslinger. Similiar to lowered position, but a bit more accurate. Wouldn't clash with each other.
As a result, the lowered sprint would apply only to the bad ones like those from BAS, or base stcop.

I mean the guy is probably exaggerating just how much he thinks one is better than the other, it's the internet and everyone does that. I don't mind it, and I like to discuss preferences, even if it gets spicy.
I never played EFP and don't have the time rn to set everything up, especially since I got GAMMA to a point that suits me nicely. So I don't really know for what kind of a feel efp goes.
Gamma introduced me to MO2 so tweaking the modpack to my liking is immensly easy compared to doing it manually. So I don't get people when they say they have a problem with gamma's settings. I love the hobo phase but tweaked the progression.
I simply made some guns abailable at traders at suitable goodwill, changed prices to reflect that, made outfits available etc.
Still much less work than doing that manually, and I don't have to worry about rudimentary compatibility between essential addons, and I start with graphically consistent base, that doesn't suffer from memory leaks like my anomaly usually does after I'm done with building it manually.
I doubt that there is so much difference between the modpacks that one can possibly be yuck while the other is based. So I'm really curious about what led to a conclusion like that. Also can give me ideas about features I could add.

I got it roughly figured out, I'll send you instructions in a dm when I get out of work later today. But heads up, I use GAMMA modpack so some things might not be the same. At this time, I managed to change the ak74m animations to the ak74 ones. didn't check anything else, including optics. But all base ak74m camo/no camo/duty camo etc, with iron sights work.

FYI game crashes in Yantar because it wants "stalker_ecolog_peregrine.ogf" but the patch contains only "stalker_ecologist_peregrine.og". Judging from the rest of meshes, the name convention of ecologist faction should have "ecolog" in the file. Changing in the file name from ecologist to ecolog fixes the problem.
Apart from that works beautifully, thanks for the patch.

This is by far my favourite mod mate, seriously.
I've been playing with it since it came out, I absolutely love it, especially the smgs. You actually made me want to use them haha.
I've got a question though. I got very used to these anims, so I'm looking for a way to sort of revitalize them for me. You know, a small change like using the aks74 anims for the newer ak74m and its variants. Or using akm anims for ak103 etc. I figured that platform is supposedly the same- shape of the gun, magazine is in the same place etc. Could the animations be switched? i'm not requesting any mod update, but could you tell me if this is a hard thing to do- does it require more than an override of few files/ few lines of text in configs/hud repositioning?
If it doesn't could you point me in the right direction?

Edit: I actually did it omg this is so cool.
