Thank you so much for making this! This allows for a neat and tidy way to play Doom 3 in widescreen, with the BFG Edition's better texture compression, and with gamepad support for those that want it, while feeling and playing closer to the original.

Could you update BFA Edition to fix the stencil shadows? RBDOOM-3 fixed them in March. Github.com

Also, the view model FoV can only be increased. Can an option be added to decrease the view model FoV? The FoV that matches the original Doom 3 default is approximately 107, but the view model FoV becomes too high and needs to be lowered. I can't lower the view model FoV.

I would suggest defaulting to settings that match the original 100%, like keeping the player's own shadow off, and the original flashlight. I'm not sure if it's accurate, but from what I can tell, r_lightscale 1.5 is close to the original Doom 3? It would also be nice to have these settings on the menu itself rather than needing the console. Controller bindings should also be customizable in the menu rather than relying on the cfg.

Would really like to see this get as close as possible to the PC original, like the pickup placements, encounters and such (See: Doomwiki.org ). I know I could just play the original version, but playing it this way seems to have potential and I'd love it 100% if BFA manages to become exactly like the original Doom 3. I don't really mind if Doom 1 and 2 stay the way they are though, since the new Unity port already fulfills that purpose, and the BFG Edition's one is basically the Xbox 360/PS3 version.

Could aim assist on this mod be decreased, but not entirely disabled either? The Xbox 360 version never had aim assist that was this strong, and it was more nuanced compared to the lock on-like aim assist this mod gives.

This one's really neat and I prefer it over the ModDB download. WinQuake was the one I was really trying to get working, so I'm already satisfied, but for the sake of completion, I kinda want to get GLQuake's Mission Pack music working fully too. GLQuake can't seem to play the music for the demo of mission pack 1.

It's possible to *remake* it for MCC, since most of the stuff still works on it, but it's a slow and tiring process to apply all the changes on there, especially when 343 breaks mods with every update. 343 seems to be in the process of fixing the MCC though anyway. I might think about doing it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No promises really.
