A combination might look nice, making the blade core itself clean and sharp (as it's supposed to be) and maybe keep the sway effect or make it a bit more subtle. (just a thought)

Nice level design! I just get the feeling that the right side is a little bit empty, maybe add some objects like crates, etc. (But it's probably still WIP)
