Well, Hi. I call my self Twitwi or Winnak, but mostly Twitwi, My live long dream is to become a full-time game developer. My first experience with mods was with Garrysmod, and from that point on, I was hooked.
So Lately I have gotten too much time on my hands, even though I just started in a gymnasium.
So I downloaded the Unity engine (with an indie license) and started composing a game, I quickly realized it should be toonish, (since the current version of unity isn't a "high-end" engine) and there by found out that my strongest side of myself, is properly my texturing skills.
- All textures you see is tile able.
- Some of them is photos i found through Google, and modified it with photoshop (many of them couldn't tile) - and of course I checked the license for them.
- The rest (of the non-tonish) are pictures taken by my own camera.
- the toonish textures are generated with photo-shop clouds (this includes "wood_small_01" and "wall_plaster_hospital_02") or handdrawn (look at toon_ground_grass .. ")
So yea, more coming up!
(I'm thinking maybe something with my source sdk hammer skills, but we'll see)
cool, but you really need to improve the normal maps a lot. it's ok to use a generator for them but you should really modify them to ;)
Can you say what is wrong with them specific? because the only normal map I have made with a generated and then left it untouched is the "WoodWallTwitwi_normal" the rest have gone through some tweaking.
