I have noticed that the shortcut it creates is to Rome and not BI. When trying to select to play BI, the screen goes black and flickers (I have to crtl-alt-del it). So it seems to me that it's trying to run it with Rome and not BI. I dont know how to change that on this Gold edition? Anyone? :o

Hi all, firstly let me apologize for posting - I've looked at the comments and TWcenter posts etc, and the solutions to my problem isn't fixing it. And in case you think I'm very behind the times - the show Vikings urged me to find a viking mod to play.. pre Christian that is. Anyway, I am getting the "line 18 column 1 horde_min_units not supported" error.

I have the right version of BI (1.61) - I have it on Steam. I recently purchased it as a Gold edition which has Rome and BI. When you click on Play on the Steam screen it comes up with the option of playing Rome or BI - I'm hoping that's not the issue here?!

Also, successfully downloaded VI2 and it's in the right location, pointed the right path in launch settings on steam and created the Icon etc. I'm on windows 8.

PLEASE HELP!! (I'm not very PC literate so please speak to me like a child lol)
