Hi, what do you mean standalone? I am using Cryengine Free SDK,no props,textures or anything else is used from Crysis. So if i release this one day, people wouldn't have to buy any of the Crysis games to play it. Cheers
Yeah its dead... I am poking around with it,transfering and improving files for Cryengine 3 free sdk. But its just for fun,there is no team, or time to make a working demo...
Its hard to find dedicated people that have enough spare time for modding... I am still playing around with the mod these days, as i lost my job. Its not a Crysis 2 mod anymore as i moved everything to Cryengine 3 FREE SDK.

Unfortunately, you are right. I took over the mod and started porting everything to CE3 and improving it. But as all good things this had to end. I got a job, and working mostly 12hour shift, and nobody will take over the leadership. Enterprise M.A.C.O. is dead without his crew. I apologize to everyone for not clearing this out sooner.
It can be much better, but who has the time to improve it? I am sorry, but we are not bunch of high schooler's and don't have all the time on the world to make it perfect. We are working in our spare time,and sometimes we sacrifice the quality and accuracy of the tasks we do, just to complete them. About Tessellation and other DX11 stuff, not all of us have latest PC hardware, so i decided that we work with what most of us have. We are sorry if it's not good enough for you, everything will be released to the community once the mod is done,even the 3ds MAX files, and you could tweak/redo everything. And about the example scenes you are mentioning, i am familiar with them. And to my knowledge they were working for weeks/months, just on that small portion to tweak them just right. We can't afford to do that, there is whole ship that need to be constructed, i hope you can understand that. No hard feeling or anything. Cheers
Blue carpet is just like in seasons 3 and 4 of Enterprise. Maybe it should be just a bit darker to be more accurate.

No plans for commanding the ship from third person view. Do not buy Crysis 2 just because of this mod, it won't be finished for some time, and price of Crysis 2 will drop.
Its in perfect scale. STO has silly oversized corridors and rooms...

Heh, they are so short because they lead on back hatch of Shuttlepod. I am pretty sure i nailed the size i have tons of reference images. About the doors, i am not trying to achieve everything 100% accurate, just trying to catch the feeling of the Enterprise, but don't worry that so easy to tweak in CE3 would take 20sec...
Only SP, no plans or time for MP, we are already limited in our free time for modding, so we are just focusing on finish first complete episode of the mod.
Everything CAN be changed if you have the knowledge and the right people. We are working on our own HUD.

This one will be finished. Yeah we still have Marc our '' Captain Archer''lol, and he is also doing head models for our main crew. Very skilled artist in every aspect. Just watch out for new Media Release this weekend.
Not really, because we are using some textures and other stuff from crysis 2. Where is the rush, when we finish the mod Crysis 2 will cost 5 dollars... :)

We are not using the standalone SDK because lots of stuff is missing, and we rather not spend time making some stuff over and over again. SO you will have to own Crysis 2, it might cost 10 dollars when we release the mod.
Normal map is not wisible, because there is no light source in this map, still experimenting.
I am sorry Killi, older images were deleted because i took bad screenshots. Thanks everybody for nice comments. And small note, we are just importing stuff to CE3, not doing any tweaking of lights, textures or models yet.
This is just testing of the modular corridor parts and textures.
Don't mind the FPS, its my crappy computer.. We are using LODs at the moment, but if needed in later stage of development we can add occluders.
