It's single player. The patch does include MP, but it also includes a bunch of other stuff. Eidos just put it in one patch. Glad you enjoyed the installer!

Yep, all you need is the 1.0.4 EXE: Moddb.com

The Bonus Material doesn't have any gameplay impacts, it's just behind the scenes type stuff (voice acting bloopers, artwork, etc).

Understandably. This video was actually written and recorded before the MOTY actually started, and we planned to release it before the voting but then changed our minds. The "vote often" part doesn't strictly make sense, but it sounds good.

No more *playable* bonus content, but we are working on the last 3 or 4 Developer Commentary videos. Those should start to trickle out this month, sometime.

Plus, there's two more of these TNM Character videos that'll be popping up this month :)

Infinity is a fantastic looking game that scores a lot of points with people for, well, looking fantastic. Deus Ex, on the other hand, looks like precisely what it is, a very old game that would never get any votes based on visual delight.

In any case, we have a general and oft admitted love for PR (which we consider good practice for our next commercial venture), so it's just a lot of good fun for us!

A fair point, Betelgeuze. However, it's rather like a political campaign. If you want to win, it's a rather poor strategy to simply kick back and hope people realize they want to vote for you. And of course, I just loved making these videos :-)

An interesting development, indeed!

Couple of random questions:

-Do you plan to support developers with anything similar to Steamworks?
-Is the idea that Desura will provide an easy way for people to automatically download/install mods for any game they own (possibly excepting games purchased through Steam and the like)? So essentially you just click "Gimmie that mod!" and it downloads, installs, and then patches?

Excellent modcast, loved the RTS coverage!

As to 'The Nameless Mod', it was originally just because we were too lazy to settle on a proper name. We always intended to go back and properly name the thing but after 7 years everyone already knew us as TNM and we didn't want to confuse the issue. Besides, it's just weird enough that you won't forget it! Although your explaination was good, too, Dave ;-)
