The problem may be that people are trying to manipulate the fuse using 'E' instead of the Gravity Gun.

Using 'E' for this task is too erratic to be possible. Using the gravity gun makes it easy.

This is where I'm stuck. I've trapped the antlion guards, and now I need to get out of Mr Whirly in order to work the valve to open the gate. But when I press E, I'm still in control of the vehicle yet I'm not moving. :(
