What is this "break" thing you speak of? Is it edible?
We'll try to make it work with other input devices as well! The reason many XNA games only works with 360 controllers is because they "just work", while other devices require some tinkering. But yeah, the aim is that the final product will support most generic gamepads!

Regarding the release date, it seems there's a quirk in Desura's publishing system which flags a game as released when it's been fully approved, even if you're only going to run a beta for starters! The real date of full release is still quite a long way off :(
We'll open up a forum here pretty soon where Desura users can report their interest in joining the beta. It will start when we've got our next stable release, which we're working hard to bring as soon as possible!
