How do i close the rank up screen? it says to press "I", but it doesn't work when i press it. It's preventing me from continuing the game.

For some reason this makes GZDoom's current build lag a ton. Like, I go in game and the framerate is SUPER low. Maybe around 10 to 5 fps. I run the game at 1920x1080. but if i put it at 1280x720, it runs fine. However if I'm using ZDoom LE, it works 100%. What's the problem here?
