This is a splendid idea for a mod. This appears to be made by a dedicated mod team working closely with the release cycle of SCS patches so that their mod stays up to date as much as possible.

Granted, the mod in its current state has a few problems - some players have picked up harassing others on the road (which isn't managed very well yet), the game can crash quite frequently, and functions like the economy aren't quite synced up yet. Despite the long way to go, this team is making bounds and leaps of progress.
