Hey there,

It sounds like you're missing a Visual C++ Runtime version, which must be used by one of our components. You will need the x86 versions installed, since it's a 32bit executable (that will change in the future :))

Anyway, one of these should hit the spot, I'm sure you'll need them for other things anyway:
Microsoft.com
Microsoft.com

Should those fail, the 2008 ones might be required, but I think one of those two should work. Our forums at thedarkmod.com are a far quicker way to get help too!

Please post a little thread over on our support forum (http://modetwo.net/darkmod/index.php?/forum/58-tdm-tech-support/) and we can look at sorting this out :)
Otherwise check our wiki FAQ/Install instructions and make sure you're using the right patch etc.

And on a side note, 1.03 is on track with many new changes/additions ;)

If you could please make a thread over on the TDM forums with more details, we're aware of a few crashes that have been patched for 1.03. But it's always of interest to have more details of vague cases :)

We're happy to help you with problems, TDM have a tech support forum on the site and it's recommended to use that. (I'd post a link but newbie accounts cant). Please also use the official forums for any feedback and such as it's much easier to reply to etc and the team reads everything there :)

However make sure you read the wiki/FAQ which covers quite a few problems that are out of our hands. It's likely that you need to drop your interaction shader quality (in the graphics menu) to fix that(Its a problem with geforce 6xxx's iirc). If that fails please make a thread in the support forum and try include a screenshot :)
