This faction's tech tree overlaps with ig to the extent guardsmen can't get grenade launchers or plasma guns because they need the knight research building.

I don't know where better to post this so...
When I try to start a skirmish, the loading stops and I get a blank popup window on my desktop. I turned off winconditions/options that aren't relevant to the races played but no luck. This applies to baseline unification and new races alike.

I've downloaded the 6.9 core files, races, music, used the installer on them, then patched to 9.25.
