Of course I remember you! Yeah I made some kf maps. However, most notably I create an independent game based on UDK right now - Indiedb.com
It's still in preproduction and we have some major team problems right now, but hopefully one day it will see the daylight.

Well we don't want to overpower the player, especially with a thing that can't be reached by the monsters. It would ruin the atmosphere. Basicly it will be a mean of transport to the soldiers.

Hey there man!
Thanks for the compliments :P. As for the problem with the contrast, Tripwire told me about it after the first wave of the grindhouse mapping contest. Seriously saying - I have no idea why the hell that happens. It (as you said) doesn't happen in solo nor on internet dedicated servers.
All I can do is to check the map and maybe re-release it in July (right now I have exams and stuff:/).
