hello. I am big fun of your mod and follow you since the first release.
I love this mod but one thing is missing, at least for me. and it is lance recruitment system. I think it is a very realistic feature and it would be amazing if you could implement in your mod at least as an optional feature.
Thanks and keep up the great work

First of all thanks for the great work and congratulations!!! new version looks amazing!

I've got 1 question.
I have just started playing new version. I'm already a vassal of eastern province. but I can not recruit professional troops from castles and towns. I can recruit only common soldiers. is there any change? or do I need to do something to be able to recruit them?

It looks good, but I think It\d be better if the leather was 2-3 inches below the belt... so that it looked like the belt is holding the cuirass as well...

The separated elite/commoner troop trees are very realistic. Changing cultures also sound good. After all changes you've mentioned in reports, this mod is going to be the most interesting balanced mod I've ever seen! (for the 1050 AD)

but also one of the most realistic recruitment system I've ever seen in warband was in the mod named "Blue Blood". That system was very close to realistic, medieval feodal recruitment system.
you could only gather forces in your own village/castle/town. village provided poor units while castle and town provided with some elite troops. Also the main feature was that you could not raise as much army as you wished. you could just call the army and your settlement could give you a deffinite number of troops and also for a limited period. you had to let your men go home after 3 weeks. and you were not able to call them back for another 3 weeks.
you could also have some mercenaries in your ranks, but those men cost too much, so a noble lord is almost always dependent on his own feudal troops
also you can not recruit troops if oyur villages are looted, so you do everything to save them. coz you may be left without any troops at all, for some period of course.

So at 1 point that mod was very realistic. but on the other hand it was much more challanging. and a player might had had to wait for a long time untill he would have enough fiefs to manage gathering the army that is able to capture a castle...

It would be interesting to hear what you think about that kind of recruitment system.

Things seem to be a lot more complex than I thought it could have been.
Keep up the Great work.
I hope all problemes will be solved in the nearest future :)
And thanks for the progress report!

the armor looks amazing...
polehammer is a little bit unrealistic for me... did infantrymen use that kind of weps in middleages? how could it had been used in real battle?!

I meant commoner/professional troop trees would be amazing.

It's very sad to hear that.
Of course its up to you what you will choose to put in the mod. but in my opinion recruitment system would be a better choice.
I think it would make the mod much more realistic.

strange, I have never met Heavy Kelton Shield in markets... and I have spent much time on this mod... playing several campaigns including one for Kelton Faction..

The idea of not using the weakest shields for any units sounds really good.

The other thing that was a little bit strange for me was the Huscarl equipment. As I remember, Huscarls were equiped with Axes in previous version, but in current version Huscarls use only hammers, no axes (I'm talking about 2h weps). Is this going to stay as it is now or will there be an additional 2handed weapon for them?

Waiting for the new version with patience. Keep Up the Great Work :)

Very good mod. really looking forward to it and checking for news almost every day. Keep up the great work.

The only thing I did not really like in this mod was the Kelton Shields. why are they so weak? I think it'd be much better if those dropform shields were better than even those kite shields that vaegirs are used to have
