Actually, the code can run on OS X just fine. I have tested the game on OS X previousely.
However, I don't have much experience with OS X development and don't even have a Mac, which makes it hard for me to create a distributable package for this (also, some features diddn't work correctly on Mac, but that would be fixable).

I tried to reproduce the problem with several nvidia cards but wasn't able to do that.
You might want to try to download the EXE Installer from the desura page instead of installing Hackwork via Desura. If you already did that, try installing via desura.
These two version have some differences.

That should by far be enough. I have a similar GPU here and will do some testing tomorrow. However, I fear that I won't be able to reproduce it as I have never seen that problem on Windows. I'll report back in ~24 hours.

It should work fine on Windows 7 64bit.
What are the specs of your PC (especially the GPU)?

Found the issue. It's something related to saving/loading the game (a loaded game can't seem to display the instruction tooltips any more).
I fixed it in the code and will release that soon.
The problem does not exist if the level is played without saving/loading.

Okay, that seems to be related to the environment setup provided when running from Desura. Will be fixed in the next version.

Oh wait.. You do notice that you have to choose one of the free slots? Just click on one of them and the game will be saved to that.

That already is the case. Sites that you visit more often will be stronger in the game. Antivirus sites are not detected, however.

Just wanted to let you know: If 0.1.7 crashes for you from time to time: A fix is on the way.. sorry about that.

Are you installing it with Desura or are you trying to use the standalone version?
If you are on the standalone version, you might need to install the packages in the redist/ directory.
In the next version there will probably be an installer that automatically detects if the redist-stuff is installed and then installs it if required.

Note to potential players:
We currently observe some issues with some linux distributions such as Debian stable and maybe others.
These Issues will be fixed in the next release next week.
(If you know how, you may also compile your own version from source to work arround these issues. But it is recommended to wait for the release which also brings a few features and a reduced package size).

About the short demo: You're right. We will release a new demo next week that also contains a skirmish mode game so one can get a better impression of that.

Well, the game uses your browser history to use it for host names in game. So if you're watching a lot of you-know-what, you might already get some "warm thoughts". ;-)

There will probably also be a skirmish game in the next Demo. It's just not up yet.
