Anyone else having problems downloading the mod? I tried several times and with different browsers and it always stops after downloading 114 mb.

No, it's been hibernating for a long time. The next version will be released in the next few weeks.

You should unpack the archive into the 'Modules' folder of the 'Mount&Blade' game folder.

Our priority is historical accuracy, and not graphics. Although you are right, many players would like better graphics for the game and it would make the mod more valuable/popular. Unfortunately non of the crew members are expert in making textures for the environment. What we could do is suggest some mods which deal with this exclusively - like PL and make a short tutorial on how to make it compatible with our mod.

Probably because I used a wrong .sco file for dresden. In the next version I'll redo the whole map (with a lot more settlements too), so hopefully I won't make the same mistake again.

Depends on what you mean by best. If you want a challange, go with the Russians, if you want to be part of a stronger faction pick HRE or Hungary.
