A basic modder here,
I tried to adjust the consumable drops in death_generic.ltx, as well as death_items_by_communities, into higher amounts and drop rates, but when I checked a few stalker bodies that I killed and then looted, it seems that the adjustments I made didn't affect the loot at all.
Could it be that the loot can be adjusted in the "gameplay" folder, through the character_drugs.xml files?

It could be that for example, a Freedomer accidentally shot a Bandit so their squads could turn on each other.
Same thing happened to me, especially when I set the mutant and stalker spawn frequencies to 1.5. I was playing as Clear Sky when I saw a Loner shooting another Clear Sky exo. The latter didn't care at all, but after he was killed, his whole squad suddenly turned against the Loner.

Tools can be acquired from random stashes. The best way to get it is to finish a mission; that would reward you often a stash location, and sometimes that stash could have a toolkit, as well as some uncommon goodies & equipment.

What I actually loved about this patch since R5 is the ability to mount on Helis. I wish you can also fire while riding on BTR's. That would be badass.
Can't wait for the full version to be released! But doesn't matter, if the final release is better than expected, I would play it in a heartbeat!

Try to have a COP-COC converter, and copy all the unpacked files, or redownload the addon of COC if you used an addon. Yes its a clue and maybe it can't be opened because it's missing/outdated version. IMO

As a modder who prioritizes on modding squads, somehow I see stalkers not going on gulag positions when I spawn a squad. They instead move for a few seconds then sit down, happening everytime when I spawn a squad.
I turned on the debug, and noticed this in my gulag info HUD. There's a lot of free gulag positions for stalkers to sit in, but instead they don't go to it. For example, I spawned a squad, some stalkers are supposed to sit in the campfire, but instead they sat down in the soil, while others are going to their guard gulag positions. How can I fix this? Is it in scripts/gulag_general, amarite?

I felt like I'm in the Zone for the first time. The creepiest things I have ever seen, mutants more dangerous than even the most powerful squads combined, Stalkers meaner than the meanest of our ancestors before. You have did an extremely great job of making a mod that resurrects the scariest moments of my life as a horror FPS gamer.

Yes. Whenever you kill a mutant, a stalker, and accomplish missions or capture locations, or destroying a helicopter, you'll get XP. It's a rank system from novice to master. And there is also a Mosin Nagant (M1891). Pretty freaking awesome.

If you think that you don't have enough squads and your attacking squad and you will be outnumbered 5:1, companions can be a very handy metal shield, especially if they wear exoskeletons.

I don't know, but if you want to get more buddies, don't try to be enemies with other factions and most importantly, don't join a faction and be a Loner still. Instead, increase your reputations with other factions.

(Example: I have a good relation with Freedom. I asked their companion to go with me and he accepted it. Then, I went to Duty base, but they didn't fire at my companion because probably if you're a Loner, they will also be a Loner, and Duty doesn't harm Loners. I received a good reputation from Duty, asked their companion and voila! He accepted it and now I have two companions. This also applies to other factions, but it's actually hard.

Simple: Duck, Cover, and Hide.

If it's a Mil Mi-2 (scout/guard helicopter), you can easily hide from it, and if you decide to destroy it, it doesn't hurt a lot if you get hit, since it's just a machine gun.

If it's a Hind/Mil Mi-24 (attack/patrol helicopter), it's best not to fire at that thing, since unlike the scout helicopter, there's probably a chance that it will shoot rockets at you, which results in an instant death.

I really love this mod. This is the real reason why I never quit playing Clear Sky, despite the buggy things in the vanilla game. It revived the true meaning of the Faction Wars: securing roads to different paths, capture bases to exponentially increase territory, and unleash an all out war on every location.

But the one question still remains unknown:
Is there any way to enter Limansk? Do we eventually explore the ones that the Zone kept as a secret once more after the Clear Sky eventually opened the way to the secret city?

Guys, can you help me with this bug that happened to me before?
I was a Clear Sky member, so I am in the Swamps. I armed myself to siege the Bandit's area at the tank house in the middle of a swamp, then I proceeded to go to the only area where the Military spawns. But as I went there for a long distance (starts loading the military squads), I got this:
-A fatal error
-Says that in the xrRender/ModelPool.cpp, the model "actors\stalker_soldier\stalker_military_exo.ogf" can't be found
Please help, I have waited to play CoC for so long. The same thing happens for "actors\stalker_bandit\stalker_bandit_exo" thingy.
