Did you download the demo from IndieDB or from Desura page. This shouldn't happen with the latter. :/

Psi ability tier has nothing to do with its damage potential. All psi abilities are meant to scale as your character progresses.

That said, base damage of electrokinesis should indeed be higher than that of telekinetic punch or neural overload because these abilities rely on other factors and specific combos for efficiency.

I don't think that electrokinesis is too far off damage-wise at the moment, but I'll have to play with it a bit more. It might be dealing a bit to much damage per target when used against low number of targets, so that might need some tweaking; we'll see.

I also have interesting feats in store for this and other electricity based psi abilities in the future.

You're right. The setup wasn't configured properly. Fixed now.

Not sure then. Could be a corrupt installation of .NET or XNA. Could you check if you have .NET 4 and XNA 4 Refresh installed?

- make sure you have Media Player installed as windows feature
- make sure you installed the demo with setup.exe (not the .msi)
- try running as admin (depending on what version of the demo you have this might also be the problem)

Making these sorts of quest is very time consuming. Unfortunately, I can't afford to make each one perfect otherwise I won't have time to make enough of them. I'll look into XP rewards for different outcomes though.

There will be other ways to recharge a portion of your psi points in the future, but they will never be a free resource. That is, psi booster will always be necessary.

Don't know what's the last version I played. I remember buffing burrowers at some point but it wasn't in this patch.

I plan to make the game world big at the very least, with lots of areas, enemies, items, etc. I always say that Underrail is a game of exploration and combat first and foremost so you can expect lots of that.

And while narrative is also important, it might not be as packed with flavor dialog, small narrative pieces and such as the classics.
