I should also note I am using Windows 8.1, which I am suspecting is a major factor in the problem.

So I have an problem... I've been trying to install this mod on my laptop but for some reason when I install it whether by the Mod Manager 1.3 or directly into the Freelancer folder, it crashes upon start. How it crashes is after I click the icon it acts like its opening, have that black screen and then the screen goes grey for a second and then back to desktop, and in the top left corner a small black rectangle appears for about 2 seconds and then the entire program exits with the "Freelancer has stopped working" error box. Now I know its not the Freelancer install as that opens and works fine, but as soon as I install the mod it breaks.
Another thing I should add is I also have to re-install the Mod Manager everytime I use it because once Freelancer crashes it breaks, and every time I open it, it says "Access to Freelancer.ini denied."
