Just that same RA2/YR fan, especially in turning multiplayer maps into singleplayer campaign maps. I like to work with Yuri's Revenge: CnCD2K when making them. Unfortunately, I can't work with NPatch however because of having to install a compatibility version of YR rather than the actual game, but I love working with Ares.dll if you have some mods to recommend or modding tips. Also, hello, and welcome to SteamsDev!

Well, this is going to be a fondly nice blog, for once!

So today, my computer achieved what it had always struggled to do: completely download a CD image for an abandonware OS. I always felt like my internet was used way too much for anything to happen, but just letting it go did the trick today, and thanks to VirtualBox, I now have a fully operational Windows 2000 VM.

Now, I was originally intending to play Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit on the VM, but I found out from the startup app that it only works on Win95 and Win98, so downloading those would take even more time. So, I had to abandon that. Then I saw from the website which I got the game from that both TibSun and RA2 were both released before WinXP was...

Which made me curious - could both these games work on the VM?

Well, I already know the one does. TibSun worked beautifully when I got it installed, and thanks to VirtualBox I managed to get a video on my first game on the VM. Expect the video to be up tonight!

See Y'all! :)

Just don't have the screen resolution too big. That's always worked for me.
