Don't think I'm being horrible but I really can't believe this is taking so long to finalise, constantly. I'm just going to replay the original and HR and some mods that have actually been released - and stop visiting this page - it's obviously still a long time away. Best of luck with the mod, if it ever gets out of the door I really will be amazed at this rate. Will check this page next year - and I'm not getting my hopes up. Hope everybody keeps it polite on here but I've had enough of wasting my time - good luck and goodbye :)

Just can't wait for Revision, sounds like you've done enough work already after all these years :P lol. Sorry to go off topic but it would be interesting to know how many people on here play multiplayer DX?? We've done loads of bickering and maybe it would be good to take it to the next level and and headshot a few people . Maybe a Revision based get together... :)

Regarding Steam I think we should all just chill out and see what comes with the release. Shame SE doesn't just remake the original but with modern tech. It's done with songs and films all the time so why not do it with a masterpiece of a game. Until that day we have to thank CC for breathing some life back into the original - Steam or not :)

I've been thinking about how rude and unkind some people - myself included - have been on here and it's quite unpleasant. Having in a previous post apologised for my quite frankly, childish behaviour, I've given it some thought and there really is no excuse for it. Hopefully a few people on here can take a step back and take a constructive look at themselves and adjust themselves. We wouldn't treat people like it in real life. We should be enjoying the gaming life. Not slagging one-another off.

Undersiege, if you're expecting any sense from this forum or a concise non-bull reply from the devs, you'll be waiting a long time. And to everyone that keeps saying "it's coming out really soon" - they've been saying that for a very long time now. Their idea of soon is extremely warped...

Of course THEY decide. People like you know nothing about people like me - and you're certainly not in a position to cast aspersions just because you don't like somebody's opinion ;) but as the old saying goes - let the facts speak for themselves. The devs are not on the cusp of releasing, they've said as much already - they're waiting for the 'holy nod' from the almighty SE... lol So really it's turning into a bit of a joke. The devs are more concerned about SE than they are about the gamer - regardless of your jumped up opinion. Let the facts speak for themselves.

Completely believable! I think everybody should download the leaked version - it's not like you're going to get to play the proper release anytime soon. They've said themselves that they don't know when it will be released. They said it would be out months and months ago. Download it and if they ever get to releasing the proper version (which they probably won't) just consider it to be a *very* unexpected bonus. Download it everybody!! Download it!

So, are SE going to stop you from releasing this mod? (That's what everyone seems to be worrying about).

If not, is it not as simple as finding out what they want you to change, changing it, then releasing?

I'm amazed by the lack of serious input on these message boards from the devs - considering their hard work. A simple honest update every now and then wouldn't go amiss. It's not surprising that some supporters are ranting - they keep checking the page and the devs can't be bothered to be open and frank - they shouldn't be shouted down. Is it going to be released this year? At all? Serious questions now - considering the circumstances. It's looking like it will never be released (they were going to release it ages ago) so they should either fill with some proper info or close the page. To say they're losing credibility is an understatement.

Releasing soon... Is it too much to ask for some updates and a bit of honesty from the devs? Anyone saying anything against them has been shouted down by the fanbois - unyet it's a simple fact that they appear to be stringing their supporters along and are now rapidly losing all credibility. Hard one to recover from unless they make an effort pretty quickly.
