Nevermind, figured it out. In menu.bat, I had to turn on side changes. Not sure why they were on the first time I ran the game and not after that, but doing that puts the cockpits in every time the game runs now. I wish I'd found this mod years ago, it fixes my only significant gripe with SWBF2!

I downloaded this for the starfighter cockpits, and those only, everything else was secondary. Unfortunately, they only worked the first time I played with this mod. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mod, and the game, but I've never seen the cockpits again. What do I do about this? (Accidentally asked in the patch's comments.)
