Check if you have "fh2" directory under [Battlefield 2]/mods/
Check the md5sums of the installers:
Forgotten Hope 2.45 (1 of 2).exe - 50487e09b10fd22a392f106beab9ff58
Forgotten Hope 2.45 (2 of 2).exe - 0016e8e2b10ed956d42153ea82312140
If they are not valid (or you don't know how to check them), your files probably got corrupted, re-downlaod them.
You sure you are doing everything right? FH2 does not modify anything in the vanilla bf2 installation.
Running on wine I assume?
Run it in windowed mode (+fullscreen 0) and see if it gives any error message.
Also, make sure you run the game with "FH2.exe"

And no work is being in progress to keep up here ;)
Hey, nice to see the old FH still being developed :)

Sorry, but how can you explain that exact same model (compare texture, details, license plate - FH 318449, FH is acronym of "Forgotten Hope") screenshots are posted on our site in a newst post dated 15.09.2004 22:00 GMT?

Try enforcing 16x anisotropic filer in your graphic driver.
Make sure your install path is correct. It should point directly to Battlefield 2 folder (for example "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\")
Sorry, no patch from 2.4 (it turned out to be way too big).
2.45 installation will completely remove mods/fh2 folder and all its contents before it will proceed with 2.45 installation.
CUZ IT HAZ GREAT QUANTINTY OF CONTENT :)
We have one Russian in team if that makes you happier ;)
There will not be 2.4 -> 2.45 patch, it turned out way too big :)
This may serve you: Fhdev.dyndns.org
Be aware, installation from this resource is completely manual :)
1) AFAIK most animations were reworked or touched-up for 2.45
2) No, sorry, that is not possible in BF2.
Please contact Desura staff, not us. We do not develop nor maintain Desura.
Yes, the NA maps probably all have the version without hood.
There are both versions in-game, hooded and not. I am surprised you didn't notice that, as it is the most common german rifle in game. You didn't post this after playing just one or two maps, did you? ;)
The one and only version on Desura is the most up-to-date one -> 2.4
Maybe you should try posting in official forums' Help section: Fhpubforum.warumdarum.de
Make sure you installed FH2 into same place as BF2. If yes and the error is still there, just google for the file.
