has anyone else noticed enemies are respawning a lot less in the latest patch? I cleaned out the sawmill in zaton 4 days ago in game time and it's still pretty empty (there were also 0 controllers there this game).

i think you can go in, just don't take the documents.

have a look in the gamedata>textures folder of your call of pripyat install. if there is a "thumbs.db" file in there, delete it. you might have to show hidden files to see it

alternately.. did you run call of pripyat vanilla for a second beore you installed misery? pretty sure you have to do this

door was open for me too. wasnt sure if I should go in or not before it was proper for the story so I just left it

open stalkers_upgrade_info.ltx in stalker dir>gamedata>configs>misc and change all occurances of "false, false" to "false, true" . there's over 800 of them so use "search and replace" in notepad++ or some other app that has that feature

i have a modern sg550 but cardan still won't perform the final tier of upgrades because "a modern or higher weapon is required".

I saw a clear sky suit in the scientists bunker. looked like a modified sunrise

well i have a fully upgraded sunrise suit and an sp99 helmet, but my thermal stats are still only at 1 bar.
is the seva suit the only thing worth a damn v thermal?

none of my artifacts are affecting my thermal resistance stats. if I add/remove artifacts every other start jumps up or down but the thermal never changes. i have 4 goldfish and 2 mamas beads but i cant use them as they do nothing for me, fire still kills me very quickly

yeah, fixed it straight away. if that still doesnt work for you i'll email you my copy of the file, see if that helps. although search and replace all should do it on your end

yeah 2.01, stalkers_upgrade_info.ltx in gamedata\configs\misc
when I did it it reported it changed 800+ occurances of false, false.
I just did it again with the backup copy of the file that I made before trying it first, 832 occurances.

download notepad++ then open the proper file and search and replace false, false with false, true. there are over 800 occurances of false, false so you can't do it manually

alright, someone please message me on my profile and tell me where to find the calibration tools in zaton. i've looked everywhere I can think of. even google was no help

i've noticed one or two stashes aren't there post-patch so it's possible they're somewhat randomised or some were just moved

i cheated like a ************ and looked on youtube, went to the place they were meant to be and for a split second i saw writing appear on screen as if an item was in front of me but then it dissapeared. i looked all around the area it was meant to be, i looked under that floor, around inside the building... no sign of them

it definitely didn't go in my inventory so i've no idea what to do now

what file and what line do I have to edit to make myself invulnerable? i quicksaved just before a bandit in the wilderness behind me killed me and every time I load I die immediately. nearest save before that is from 4 hours ago so just want to load up in god mode, run away, then save and de-god myself.

i was trying to upgrade my m40 steel helmet, and i think it also happened for the light overcoat (assaulter class.

i was able to upgrade some of the tier1 upgrades on the overcoat, but one of them had the hints error

what does "add hints for this upgrade" mean when i'm talking to cardan? i gave him vodka already. does it mean he needs tools? it's a tier 1 upgrade.. cant remember if they need tools too

how am I supposed to work the economy in this game
i can't go artifact hunting, the money I get for artifacts just barely covers the damage to my armour after I've sold them. same for going out hunting bandits/mercs. all the rifle ammo is around the same price so I can't head out with a bunch of cheap x45 ammo.

i know the economy is meant to be challenging and I like it up to a point, but I constantly feel like it's just not worth it to head out into the zone.. I gain next to nothing and I'm just constantly treading water. I have 2 or 3 decent alternative weapons (shotgun, other rifle etc) in my lockbox but I never have the money to repair them or get ammo and I don't think I ever will.

where is the manual...

anyone having problems with the xray engine crashing immediately, delete the thumbs.db file from the textures folder
