Seeing this mod refined over the years and get better and better brings me great joy and motivation. Love this team!
Not as close as possible, but significantly closer than the previous Freeworlds. If we made it as close to possible as canon, the Imperial player ships would be far too weak. TIE fighters aren't very effective against rebel starfighters. It's a balanced version of Star Wars with only a few minor tweaks from the time line right now.
This Death Star is a Third Death Star, still under construction. As one of my fellow lead developers said, "You can't have Star Wars without a Death Star!"

It's massive, but to bring it to full scale would be too much and bad for gameplay. Details could be lost and parts like the hangar would be too big. The Death Star is 160 kilometer diameter, this one is nearly 50 kilometer diameter. Without the use of hyperdrive that would take an average of 13 minutes for most fighters to circle it's equator.
Yes indeed, it's actually an ISD-I which is hard to tell from this shot. The give aways are the engine, hangar bay and turrets which change in style between the first and second class ISD.
Hutts probably won't be able to squeeze in those cockpits! Haha... Humanoids working for the Hutts would do all the grunt work, while the Hutts themselves probably run things from afar. The ships are built by the remnant of the Mandalorian clans, MandalMotors to be specific.
