You can just install over it if you want. The .exe installer will do it for you. You can delete 1.0d if you want though and do that way. Doesn't matter.

It's near complete, it's more about fixing bugs and balancing gameplay right now. Probably looking at 1st or 2nd quarter of 2010. There is no actual release date, so don't quote me on that. But the main gameplay for RC1 is practically done.

The devs play sometimes and the testing team has about 20-30 people. We generally test with about 20ish on a given test day.

The weapon bob can be controlled client side. So you can adjust it to your liking.

It's a 32 player server, we have a large dedicated testing/dev team. We do not use bots for testing. Hope that helps :)

Not likely, no. However there are some customizations like Face, Glasses. Also an easy change crosshair system.

It'll be pretty different from Insurgency, FA:S is more of an arcade style Red vs Blue. You can use your points to pick up 1 of many different weapons (and trust me, there is a lot) to just pick up and play. No waiting for respawn timers here. It's a very fast paced shooter that I think many people will love.
