Connected my desktop up to my folks TV. Played a few games @ 1080p through HDMI and I must say it was awesome!

This is why I strongly believe PC's are far superior to consoles. You have greater freedom of hardware & software, better graphics, mods and you can use it for loads of things besides gaming. I think instead of buying a bigger monitor, I will just keep my current one for desktop use and get a 1080p HD Tv for gaming.
