You may want to try the steps I discuss on the main forum for BKII.

Now as far as Blitzbuilder is concerned, I see a lot of reports of errors. Here is the solution. But first, the problem.

For some reason, some entries in the BlitzINI file that were original parts of the INIZH file had some words changed, and Blitzbuilder, of course running through worldbuilder basically, gets confused, and thus crashes after you ignore three or four errors.

Here is the solution.

Download FinalBig Editor: USE google, stupid URL rule

You will need this to edit the INI files to correct the problem.

After installing FinalBig in the ZH directory, run Blitzbuilder.

Each error it reports, write down the exact location of the error. Ex. data\objects\frenchdildogun.ini
When I did this I was able to ignore three errors before it crashed.
Now, after ignoring these errors and watching your dream of creating a fictional tank battle between the U.S. and Russia crash faster than Windows ME, open up FinalBig and open up the INIZH file in your ZH directory. Find the exact matching entry within that file and copy the entire contents of that entry. ex. data/objects/infantry.ini

Now that you have copied the script, open up BlitzINI and go to the same entry within the file, delete the entire script, then past the script from the INIZH file. Make sure you save it from the drop down menu. Close Final Big and try to run Blitzbuilder again. This time you should get new errors. Repeat the step of writing down the location of each error. (By now you have noticed that each error is in the same location. repeat the copy, delete, paste step as you did before.
Run Blitzbuilder. You may or may not get more errors, but keep writing down the location or each one. IF YOU ARE LUCKY, by this point you may have only ignored two errors and Blitzbuilder loaded. If not, keep repeating the steps until you can get it to work.
For some reason, Blitzbuilder needs accurate ZH ini files to work, with little or no errors.

Ok everyone, I think I have found the absolute solution to the issues with installing Blitzkreig II. I also have found a solution to BlitzBuilder.

First thing, if you have already attempted to install BKII and ended up with errors, do the following...
1. Uninstall C and C generals + zero hour expansion.
2. If you have a second partition, create a program files folder within it. DO not try to install where your old installation was. I figured this out while editing the INI files for ZH and forgot to make backups. If it screwed up ZH and I reinstalled to the same directory, even after deleting uninstalling and deleting leftover files and folders, it still had the same issues. SO PLEASE, create a new directory.
3. You are going to go to this link http: / / www moddb com/mods/the-finest-hour/ tutorials/ taking-off
make sure though when you install in your new directory that it creates a directory similar to the default. If needed copy the C:\program files\ea\etc... and paste that after the drive letter of the new directory when installing and just delete the C:\ so it looks like G:\programs files\ea\etc...
DO THE SAME FOR ZERO HOUR.
Aside from ensuring the installation has the same path aside from the drive letter, make sure you follow the directions exactly as found in the before mentioned tutorial.
Just for ***** n giggles, download both the Blitz 3.0 and 3.1 patch again using a download manager if possible. The tutorial mentioned before mentions this.

If you followed the tutorial correctly you should have a successful installation of Blitzkrieg II. If not, try it again in case you messed up.
