I made this for a really specific issue that was happening in 2020, I have no idea if this would help anything at all in 2023 (or 2024) and the issue I was originally having has long been fixed, this probably won't help with any of your linux/steamdeck issues unfortunately

I tried all sorts last night, nothing, I shifted it above warfare alife overhaul (which I imagine doesn't change anything but was just trying to poke it) and now suddenly BOTZ works with gamma and dxvk so whatever, guess it was just some freak issue and it went away with enough restarting and poking, thanks for the quick responses anyway though

I do use... a few mods, this is with the gamma modpack, but since it only happened with dxvk I figured it wasn't related but idk much about stalker modding, I've added other mods to gamma and I've tested gamma + dxvk without BOTZ as well as gamma + BOTZ without dxvk and it seems to be specifically dxvk, but if it's some freak issue with a lot of mods + dxvk maybe I need to play with mod order for BOTZ or something?

edit: not an issue with botz, just some freak one off error, try reinstalling botz or just restarting your PC if you keep running into this like I did, it went away now

idk if I'm missing something but this seems to crash the game if used with DXVK (https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk), idk if there anything to fix or something, following error goes away if I turn BOTZ off in MO2, debug mode is definitely off

if you get the crash that looks like this:

`ui_options.script:756: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'w' (a nil value)`

it should fix it, I've had it on the main menu and when opening settings mid game, it only seems to happen when actually clicking the settings button, so if your crash is different it probably won't help, sorry

nah I think ours do different things, they both make sense, your larger values work well with your squad tweaks and mine is more like an expanded base list for people interested in doing their own tweaks, I'll leave these here if anyone wants to combine the two themselves though

thanks! I looked at yours and was inspired to try it, I originally wanted it to just be a slider but I couldn't get it to work so I just added a bunch more options instead, it's ugly but it seems to work fine

This is great, not sure why there's a lot of hate, tracked this and waiting any more updates
